Leather-bound goddess to the queen of the damned, Sasha Valley aka Sash the Bash has a thousand yard stare with eyes as deep as the pacific ocean, the soul of a jet-settin’ gypsy and a twin cam engine pumpin’ royal, ultra violet surf punk oil through a heart born to rock n’ roll. Her sultry tunes ride like a 1960’s Triumph humming heat into the crotch of your seat while rocketing past sonic sand dunes and desert croons. For fans of The Stooges, Blondie, The Cramps, Queens of the Stone Age, and The Distillers - Sash the Bash cuts straight to the bone of streetwise tones with her famed live performances that hammer audiences with a deluge of sexual electricity and broken bricks of fuzz.
Sasha Vallely aka Sash The Bash has been performing across the globe for over a decade with bands such as Midnight Larks, Spindrift, The Silver Chords, The Mobsters and The Warlocks, guested with The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Mondo Generator, Lords of Altamont, King Adora and members of QOTSA, The Hives, Portishead, Massive Attack, Cat Power, Bauhaus, Love and Rockets, Masters of Reality, The Seeds, The Black Angels, Gong, Dead Meadow, Entrance Band, Yahowha 33 and Jello Biafra of the Dead Kennedys along with many others.
She has performed at many major festivals such as Atlanta's 420 and PBR fest and will be playing Music Midtown in September along with acts such as Bruno Mars and Mumford and Sons. She has also played the Austin Psychfest, Roadburn, Desert Daze and many other festivals and opened for acts such as Cypress Hill, Kid Rock, Run The Jewels, Awolnation, Mastodon, NOFX, The Black Angels, Santigold, Black Mountain, Dead Meadow, Flaming Groovies, Strawberry Alarm Clock, King Khan, Shannon and The Clams, Night Beats, Biters and The Coathangers. Sash composed and performed on many independent and feature film scores such as El Gringo starring Christian Slater, along with directing music videos and producing and starring in the documentary Spindrift, Ghost of The West.
After the tragic loss of her drummer Tony (2 Skulls) Dinneweth, Sash is now in the studio co-writing with Tuk Smith of Biters and breaking away from the two piece with a full band, Amy Epperley on bass, Cullen Curtis and Ben Davidow on guitar and Jay Hedburg on drums with other featured members to be joining certain shows.
